From century old pine forests in the town of San Jose de Cusmapa in northern Nicaragua, these beautiful baskets are made by women artisans, who collect dry pine needles to build baskets with a very neat finishing. These baskets can be used for home decor or functional use. The needles are bound so tightly that each piece feels like a solid piece of wood and all products are washable.
